MMG Dugald River

Noble Power Solutions was engaged by RCR Tomlinson to undertake testing of the 11kV Reticulation System at the new MMG Dugald River Mine in Queensland. The scope of works included testing of the protection relays, battery chargers and DC systems, current transformers, voltage transformers, circuit breaker and associated switchboards. In addition to the 11kV equipment, Noble Power technicians also perform the testing of the 400V MCC earth leakage protection devices. This site also uses IEC61850 for signalling between protection devices for circuit breaker failure and under frequency load shedding requiring detailed testing and commissioning.
